THE PROBLEM. The purpose of this study is to measure the effect of Negotiation Role Play (NRP) on the level of critical thinking skills and to assess the degree to which team leadership style moderates the effect between NRP and critical thinking.

METHOD. This study is quantitative and qualitative true experimental pre-and post-test design. Based on the research questions and hypotheses presented in this study, a two-way mixed ANOVA was used to test the hypothesized model which was developed for this study. The population in this study was undergraduate and graduate business major students who were already enrolled in their course of study. The instruments used in this study were the Watson -- Glaser Critical Thinking Appraisal (WGCTA) which measured participants' level of critical thinking skills and the Team Leadership Survey.

RESULTS. There were five questions addressed in this study. They were designed to measure critical thinking skills and to examine the role of the NRP in developing critical thinking skills in the presence of leadership style. The findings revealed that doing the NRP increased the participants' level of critical thinking while the team leadership and team leadership profile (the diverse mixed-group) did not have a moderating effect on the NRP and impact the level of critical thinking skills.
