The purpose of this research study was to examine the core chemical technology curriculum in Taiwan, Republic of China, five-year junior colleges from the viewpoints of: (a) practicing chemical technicians, (b) chemical technology students in schools of five-year junior colleges, and (c) five-year junior college instructors of chemical technology majors. Questionnaires were sent to: (1) all fifth-year chemical technology students in three public five-year junior colleges of technology, (2) all chemical technology instructors of three public five-year junior colleges of technology, (3) and ROCEYLC registered chemical technicians who have been working in industry for at least one year.
