Problem: What are the contextual interrelationships that interact within the relational levels of individuals with autism, Autism Mommy, family, health service professionals, the health organization, and society that may produce disassociation from Being for individuals with autism and Autism Mommy?

I chose this question because at this time I am at a critical level of my analysis of Being autism. I chose the research question because even though this seems like a question that is external to myself, the interrelationship of the professional and their organization, and our society has a direct impact over the quality of relationship between the professional, me the mother, and the child with autism.

Method: I am writing an autoethnography as an Autism Mommy feminist trying to answer this question because it shows what an Autism Mommy is included or excluded from. I am not asking this as a researcher with a scientific interest, I am asking this as a mother with scientific tools that needs an answer to this question, because I need to be able to help my son be in this world.

Findings: I created the Autism Mommy feminist. From what I have discovered is that mom is buried in the private realms. There is no public mother. Mother is subjugated as a servant in all things and a master in none. The only grand narrative where mom has power is that she knows her child. But guess what, after a few months of working with a child the expert starts to take that away. It's only true as long as the child is new. Once the child has been in the system, the professional is the one that starts making the decisions about what the child is ready or not ready for. The school decides what they are or are not ready for. The work decides that they are just not good workers. Mommy is just supposed to agree and do as she is told to keep the child fed, loved, clean, alive, and keep training them just as you have been told in the way that you have been told to.

Autism Mommy was created to disagree, not to be disagreeable. But to evaluate what is working, try fixing what is not. Children have been the most silenced and thrown into the care of the mother, but it is because the mother is someone who has a bit more experience. She is the unseen servant of all the domains in the society. She is the one that taps all of the resources from all of the domains. Because each domain represents an aspect of what is needed for life. Material, the law for safe neighborhoods for play, good education for the children, food on the table, their health, evaluate potential jobs based on their child's strengths and interests. At all times she is the servant of the society because society is all about making sure that the needs of its people, their life needs, are being sustained.

The Autism Mommy is designed to show the mother's dissatisfaction. My child's life needs are not being answered; the most important is his right to operate in the system so that he can reap the benefits of his work. Based on what mothers are supposed to believe about children, that children are unique learners, that children are driven to engage the world, and that children are meant to change the world, they are supposed to unfreeze the narrative; they are supposed to evaluate what works and change what does not work.

As Autism Mother I stopped Being an agent to perpetuate a grand narrative of separation. When this grand narrative changes then I can go back to mother servant of society. Because I think mothers need to know that it's all right to disagree, it's even necessary. Especially when it's reaching the point that the disagreement is starting to be between mother and mother. When mothers start to agree that undesirable babies exist, they need to question themselves honestly.
