The purpose of this qualitative multiple case study was to examine the relationships of principals and pastors in Seventh-day Adventist schools and how that impacts the enrollment and financial support. The researcher used a qualitative multiple case study design which included in-depth interviews with four principal/pastor teams to explain the phenomenon of shared leadership within the Adventist pedagogical system. The focus of the study required participants to have worked together for at least one year. As a result of the study, the findings revealed seven thematic categories that were instrumental in impacting enrollment and financial support: (a) description of school principal and pastor relationship, (b) contribution of positive principal-pastor relationship in school, (c) indicators of collaborative support of the principal and pastors, (d) required elements in the development of positive principal and pastor collaboration, (e) factors affecting collaboration and cooperation between the principal and pastor, (f) cases of partnership between the school and church leadership, and (g) recommendations to improve he principal-pastor relationship. Additionally, the results of this study provided a model that can be utilized in other principal/pastor shared leadership relationships.
