We are living in an ever changing global IT world, where the difficulty factor of just keeping pace and preparing our students to be successful in this endeavor is becoming increasingly more difficult as time passes by. As the world becomes increasingly more global; jobs will also continue to decrease and increase respectively in developing countries and developed countries. Outsourcing of services and products, mergers and alliances are imperative and essential for today's business survival. With dwindling medical and dental benefits, increased difficulty factors to reach retirement and mostly "fire at will" policies within most companies, can we truly say that our jobs are secured and can provide us financial independence?

Gallo (2011) in Forbes.com's article, "70 percent of Your Employees Hate Their Jobs" and Gallup survey (2011) show that 71 percent of workers are "not engaged" or "actively disengaged" from their work. The traditional university methods of preparing a student for graduation and occupational career, with primary focus on entering the work force for job only purpose is not sufficient today. The lack of focusing on real world problems and providing real world solutions is detrimental to the purpose and cause of education. According to the Philippines' Department of Labor, the current unemployment rate for college graduates is unknown. Yen (2012) stated that "1 in 2 new graduates in the USA are jobless or underemployed" as it pertains to Information Technology (IT) or Computer Science (CS). Although, present day universities here in the Philippines do have and have shown the ability to establish good human capital, the fact still remains, too few students after graduation are not prepared to do something for self, if no immediate job exists. However, the researcher believes that the lack of real world instructional or application methods used within the universities for IT/CS students, the negative attitude of most students and lack of desire and/or will to take advantage of available resources to do something for oneself are all specific problems that need immediate resolution. Thus, the IT Employer Oriented Education Development/Training Program is proposed, after extensive scientific national research within the Philippines and evaluations various university's curricula, workshops and pilot programs on real world instructional or application methods were being used in IT/CS programs in universities and academic institutions, including the interests, desires and preparedness of students to go into business for themselves. ITEOE should or will minimize, if not, solve these problems and better position the students and participants of this program to fully take advantage of their acquired knowledge during and after graduation.

To take advantage of something, means to have a favorable circumstance "make good use of", a beneficial feature, to benefit or profit, to further promote, "have the advantage of, and to be in a better position". While it is definitely a benefit to obtain an IT related job to provide and take care of our families, but are we really taking advantage of this global IT world? How can people with no technical degrees or background take advantage of a Global IT World?

In order to establish a baseline of minimal requirements recommended to take full advantage of ITEOE Model, the researcher conducted a Quasi-Experimental research utilizing 3 subjects with no College Degree, Technical degree/background or College education. All three subjects were trained within the ITEOE Model. The three subjects, to the researcher's surprise, ended up very successful. They were able to successfully create and establish their own IT company, managed and operated an IT Company and established international paying customers for IT related Services for $650 per month and sometimes greater (See Appendix G for details).

To take advantage is a relative term; what maybe an advantage to some, may very well be a disadvantage to another. Advantage also means to exploit or outwit, make good use of a favorable circumstance! How can we take advantage of this global IT world which touches all fields of employment and occupations to provide security, establishes financial independence and control of our destiny for ourselves and for our families? To this end, one would truly have taken advantage. We are truly living in an information age, where critical thinking, knowledge and know how, wisdom, understanding of oneself and the global IT world will be the backbone for establishing financial independence and taking advantage of a global IT world.
