The purpose of this study was to determine the perception and use of learning opportunities at WLW Industrial (WLW) and how these perceptions relate to employee job satisfaction and turnover intention. Additionally, this study sought to identify any perceived unmet learning needs. A total of 52 of 63 (81.6% response rate) full-time professionals at WLW participated in and completed the survey, which included 39 questionnaire items related to the variables and their training experiences. Through correlation and regression analyses, it was discovered that workplace learning has a strong positive correlation with an employees' work life (r = .851; r square =72%) but did not predict their intent to remain. Additionally, this study discovered that the perception of the employees' support for learning was more of a predictor of intent to remain than workplace learning. Finally, the practical and theoretical implications of this study for WLW Industrial and other small businesses and the field of human resource management are discussed, and limitations and the directions of future research are provided.
