This research study evaluated team emotional intelligence and team interpersonal process effectiveness within a workplace organization. An in-depth literature review of relevant studies of team emotional intelligence and various performance measures within workplace organizations as well as predominate emotional intelligence theory built relevance to this research study. Building upon the suggestions of Frye, Bennett, and Caldwell's (2006) findings, this study employed a quantitative web-based survey approach to generate data. This study investigated the two-factor team interpersonal process effectiveness model developed by Frye et al. Demographic information and aggregate team responses were analyzed. Findings did not confirm the team interpersonal process two-factor model developed by Frye et al. Evidence was found to warrant examination of the team interpersonal process effectiveness scale with a larger sample of teams within a workplace organization as well as modification and rewording of the instrument.
