The mission of ‘The Korean American Experience: Immigration + Identity’ exhibition is to share the stories and past experiences of Korean immigrants in America through historical and artistic contributions. It will aim to show the stories of achievements, high hopes, frustration, and the tenacity of Koreans in their new homeland. It shall explore the challenges of integrating a traditional Eastern culture with the new practices of Western culture, and ultimately give the audience a sense of individual dignity and increase respect amongst all people to strengthen communities and beyond.
