This thesis presents an interdisciplinary curriculum that conforms to the middle school philosophy and the New York State Standards. This curriculum is centered on the reconstructive archaeological experience and focuses on the heterogeneous, seventh grade, student population. The curriculum reflects the interconnectedness of the American Indian philosophy and along with the normal core courses emphasizes art, home and careers, technology and music as integral to the American Indian way of life.Subjects--Topical Terms:
