The nonprofit institution may not be as effectively and efficiently managed as its sister organization in the for-profit sector and is facing challenges in the areas of general management, program evaluation methods, and in finding ways of becoming more self-sustaining. This study analyzes traditional management approaches and TQM-based quality management that could be an asset to nonprofit organization and then investigates how these methodologies would make a difference in the effectiveness and efficiency of nonprofit organizational operations and projects if they were employed. Possible resolutions to an ever increasing number of nonprofit management issues such as mismanagement and insufficient accounting of outcomes and the increasing shortage of funds are a product of this inductive survey utilizing grounded theory methodology.Subjects--Topical Terms:
