In addition, female respondents showed high correlations in this comparison for web forums, email, online chats, and social gatherings. In turn, their male counterparts only reported significant correlations in this analysis with respect to letter correspondence. Significant results also appeared in the analyses of online chats and phone conversations as well as in the comparison of email and written letter correspondence.
