(I) I will design a course syllabus called "Not Just a Workout". (II) I will implement the course at Cazenovia College Fitness Center, spending approximately 240 hours of work on site and the creative project. (III) I will keep a journal of my activities and insights gathered during this practicum. (IV) I will write a Reflective Paper providing scholarly contexts and detail of the course as it progresses. (V) I will do research to provide theoretical insights I gain during the practicum. The basis of this project is my belief that health and healing is integral: Body, Mind and Spirit. Expression through an individual's body in motion can promote total wholeness. To see value in the whole is foundational to a holistic attitude.

This project is designed for all levels of fitness and progresses individually. Depending on the setting of instruction, participants as students will be encouraged to keep a journal of personal goals and be given a variety of assigned readings.
