This thesis is a piece of social action research. It describes the creation of a pilot art therapy program in a Midwest public school for fourth, fifth, and sixth graders. The pilot program aimed to examine the degree to which the school was meeting social and emotional needs of the students, and to demonstrate how effective school-based art therapy can be in that capacity.Subjects--Topical Terms:
