The results of this study indicated that events and experiences perceived by the student teachers as difficult, generated feelings of overwhelm, disappointment, discouragement, and concern. As their teaching assignment continued and they received support and positive feedback regarding their performance, the difficult events and experiences were perceived as successful events and experiences that generated feelings of satisfaction, happiness, self-confidence, and excitement.
