Thesis (M.F.A.)--University of Wyoming, 2007.
This collection of stories examines how people attempt to forge connections with others, to become part of a "pack" or group, despite prevailing circumstance that generally makes the task impossible. Whether the characters are married, have family, enjoy the companionship of friends; or conversely, when they have no one in his/her immediate life, the common thread that runs through each story is that the primary character(s) are unable to truly feel as though they belong somewhere, and more, that their relationships with other people aren't ever fully realized. Whether or not such will ever be possible isn't answered in these stories, but rather, left to the reader's imagination.Subjects--Topical Terms:
