Four randomly chosen teachers from a faculty of 80 were used in this modified single-subject reversal design.

The first phase of the study included the quantitative use of a questionnaire. In order to compile the questions, OCDQ-RS was used. For the questionnaire, one question was chosen from each category in teacher behavior in order to assess morale. The participants answered six questions in questionnaire daily over a fifteen-day period. The responses of participant's indicated morale at a specific measurement. The primary analysis included a baseline assessment of trends, from baseline (B) to treatment (V), and from treatment (V) to regression to baseline (RB). Mean scores were taken to measure morale individually and collectively.

The second phase of the study included qualitative data, a means of secondary analysis. On the day following the studies end, the four participants were interviewed individually using questions derived from the OCDQ-RS. Participants' responses were transcribed and presented in narrative form and used in order to support or refute the data presented in the quantitative portion. The results of this study indicate that there is a relationship between principal visibility and faculty morale. Results to measure engaged behavior items show a change in mean score between all phases. For the two questions measuring frustrated behavior items, there were mean score changes across all phases also. Participant data also concluded that for the questions measuring intimate behavior items, a mean change occurred across all phases. Interview results support the quantitative data as each participant indicated a change in morale during the study.
