First we consider phenomenological applications to B-physics experiments, where the presence of superpartners are shown to be capable of accounting for anomalous CP-asymmetries measured in b → s transitions. In particular, with an SO(10) SUSY-GUT strong correlations exist between measurements in the Bd and Bs system through the generation of right-handed new physics operators. Beyond B-physics, supersymmetry may be responsible for proton decay even without a grand unified theory, giving a window onto physics at the Planck scale.

We move on to consider an exciting new model of a supersymmetric, composite Higgs boson, dubbed the Fat Higgs. In this framework the special; exactly proven properties of supersymmetric theories help us construct a model with a heavy Higgs boson that results from strong dynamics but still allows for the incorporation of flavor physics. Finally, the stringent constraints of supersymmetric theories are further exploited in the study of supersymmetric quantum chromodynamics, demonstrating in particular the similarities between the symmetry breaking patterns of supersymmetric and non-supersymmetric color superconductivity.
