A retrospective study was completed to analyze the effectiveness of a circle time sensory story at increasing attention-to-task behaviors in a group of integrated preschool children. Data were gathered using a clinician developed tool based loosely on Dunn's Sensory Profile School Companion. The tool was developed to be quick and easy to use, and was reviewed by three occupational therapists at the facility to assure face validity. After running descriptive and inferential statistics, results indicated that all the participants demonstrated a change in attention-totask behavior from baseline measures to post-intervention measures. The preschoolers with a disability group experienced a statistically significant change in behavior when compared to the typical group.
