Thesis (Ph.D.)--Capella University, 2011.
The critique of intelligence has increasingly gained widespread acknowledgment. The strength of the theory of multiple intelligences (MI) is the ability of the theory to address the learning of diverse populations. The teaching strategies of MI are inclusive of all elementary learners. The efficacy of MI as an instructional planning tool in elementary education, provide a valuable resource for diverse populations of students. The classification of intelligence has become diversified. The dimensions of that ideal have continued to evolve over time and settings. The task of the new millennium is not only to research the various intelligences but also to understand how to most efficiently use intelligence.
