The purpose of this project was to design a program, identify funding sources, and compose a grant proposal to fund a psychoeducational support group in the Vietnamese language for underserved family caregivers of stroke survivors of Vietnamese ethnicity. St. Anselm Cross-Cultural Community Center was chosen to be the host agency for this proposal. This intervention program aims to enhance the physical, emotional, and mental health of the family caregivers by providing education, information, coping skills, as well as opportunities for caregivers to increase social and peer support.
