This study examined a case study school's reform. Participants were middle school teachers and students. The procedure included statistical tests, Cameron and Quinn's (2006) Occupational and Cultural Assessment Instrument (OCAI), and an open-ended survey. Historical documents were examined. Data were analyzed with statistical tests. Math scores improved for certain years. The OCAI and open-ended survey indicated structure and support were significant. Historical documents focus on structure. In conclusion, some elements of reform were successful, and the culture was positive. Recommendation is to determine why improvements were inconsistent. The implications are a supportive environment empowered teachers to adjust to structural re-organization.
