The delivery of training material via the Internet allows for a larger population to receive instruction despite geographic constraints and daily life responsibilities. The online delivery of continuing education courses is an asset to healthcare professionals, especially those employed at the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs Readjustment Counseling Service. A new online learning course designed to deliver training in empirically supported, brief motivational interventions for substance-using veterans is a new intervention approach for the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs. The aim of the proposed research study is to evaluate the impact of the use of video in an online learning course using a qualitative research method following an exploratory case study approach.Subjects--Topical Terms:
