Four choreographic works were produced as part of the Masters of Arts degree program in Dance and were performed at L. J. Williams Auditorium from April 27 through April 28, 2001. <italic>Feminine Persuasion</italic>, five minutes in length, used modern and jazz movement vocabulary to explore the spectrum of moods in women, and <italic>The Shore</italic>, ten minutes in length, used ballet and modern movement vocabulary to create images of the ocean. Both were choreographed by the candidate. <italic>Desert Rose</italic>, three minutes in length, choreographed by high school student Michelle Edgar, used original movement vocabulary with a surrealistic feel to create a dreamlike landscape. <italic>Tears in Heaven</italic>, choreographed by high school student Alana Taylor, used lyrical ballet movement to reflect the feelings that overcome individuals when faced with losing a loved one. Costumes and lights were designed for <italic>Tears in Heaven</italic> to enhance the choreography of the dance. These works are documented and analyzed in this paper.
