The dance concert <italic>Day & Night</italic> was presented on 29–31 March 2001 by the Paso Robles High School Dance Department at the Flamson Middle School Auditorium in Paso Robles, California. Included in the performance were the graduate project works Dreamscape (nine minutes) and <italic>Workzone </italic> (five minutes), both choreographed by this candidate. Two student works supervised by this candidate were also presented: <italic>Triple Expresso </italic> (four minutes) and <italic>Salsa Party</italic> (five minutes).

520 $a Dreamscape chronicles the incongruous twists and turns of the dream state. <italic> Workzone</italic> depicts life in an office. <italic>Triple Expresso</italic> is an agitated dance representing the effects of drinking too much caffeine, and <italic>Salsa Party</italic> is a festive dance incorporating Latin dance vocabulary into a concert dance setting. This project report documents the creative process and discusses the learning that took place as a result of this graduate project.
