Four choreographic works were produced as part of the Master of Arts degree program in Dance: <italic>Revelations of the Heart</italic>, 2:59 minutes; <italic> Loss of Innocence</italic>, 2:33 minutes; <italic>Awakening</italic>, 5:17 minutes; and <italic>Recess</italic>, 5:08 minutes. In addition, theatrical costumes and lights were designed for one student-choreographed piece. The works were performed at the Glendale Community College Auditorium from 1 December through 3 December 2000.

520 $a <italic>Revelations of the Heart</italic>, choreographed by high school students Ani Gregorian and Arsineh Ananian, was based on the idea that, although people are basically similar to each other, they react to life's events in individual ways. <italic>Loss of Innocence</italic>, choreographed by high school student Sevana Naaman, was based on the concept of the power of peer pressure. <italic>Awakening</italic>, choreographed by the candidate, explored the journeys of life. <italic>Recess</italic>, choreographed by the candidate, was inspired by Burch Mann's American Folk Ballet. Costumes and lights were designed for <italic>Revelations of the Heart</italic> to enhance the qualities of the dance. These works are documented and analyzed in this paper.
