This quantitative, descriptive correlational study examined the relationship between the degree of use of electronic personal health records and patient health through the measurement of patient satisfaction among the patients at North Fulton Family Medicine. Analysis of the data indicated a statistically significant relationship between patient satisfaction and the degree of use of the electronic personal health record. The results of this study support the conclusion that the use of electronic personal health records improves patient satisfaction and overall patient health.
