This study investigated the impact of an eight-week dream appreciation group on the dependent variable of spiritual well-being among 32 participants. The study utilized a Jungian dream group model developed in 1994 by Shuttleworth-Jordan and Houlston and measured participants' attitudes using the Spiritual Well-Being Scale, the Purpose In Life Test, and the Social Interest Scale. Results from five groups were compared using a within- and between-series methodology. The study found a significant increase on measures of the Spiritual Well-Being Scale, but not on the Social Interest Scale or the Purpose In Life Test.
