A confirmatory factor analysis technique was used to examine the relationship between teacher employment decisions and the concept known as Employee Value Proposition. The study focused on teachers' perspectives on a re-specified Employee Value Proposition model, which included leader relationship, affiliation, salary, benefits, and career opportunities. The study employed a survey in January 2015, second round of data collection in May 2015 and a review of employee policies in June 2015 for 201 teachers across four Charter Management Organizations in the state of California. The data was analyzed to understand the relationship between the elements of Employee Value Proposition, teacher intent-to-stay, and actual employment decisions made by teachers in these organizations. Teacher employment decisions, affiliation, leadership relationship, benefits, and salary perception had a direct relationship with intent-to-stay. Affiliation, leadership relationship, and salary perception had an indirect relationship with teacher employment decisions as mediated by intent-to-stay. These results were compared with the extant literature to add context and identify any limitations of the study. This study also discussed recommendations for future research.
