This thesis is a compilation of professional writing portfolio pieces demonstrating three distinctive technical writing genres: Content Marketing, Grant Writing, and Manual Writing. The samples included within this thesis are five social media posts and graphics, two blog posts, a foundation grant, a logic model, a grant letter of inquiry, a grant cover letter, a standard operating procedure guide, and three process maps. Although the forms and genres of technical writing vary, the skills used in developing these documents are universal to all forms of technical writing. Some of the depicted and discussed skills include social media marketing, copywriting, content writing, graphic design, grant writing, audience awareness, research, time management, attention-to-detail, process mapping, procedure writing, communication, and plain language.
