This study presents an overview of how equity sensitivity impacts the relationship between organizational justice and job satisfaction to influence organizational citizenship behaviors in accountants throughout the United States. Quantitative structural equation modeling confirmatory factor analysis through SmartPLS 4 was used to analyze the results. Two hundred and five valid responses were received using an online survey. This study did not support equity sensitivity as a moderator between the organizational justice constructs and job satisfaction. However, additional testing discovered that equity sensitivity served as a mediator between job satisfaction and organizational citizenship behavior with P-value of 0.001 and β 0.120. Equity sensitivity also mediated the relationship between interactional justice and organizational citizenship behavior with P-value of 0.010 and β 0.083. This research supports that job satisfaction mediates the relationship between procedural justice and organizational citizenship behavior and interactional justice and organizational citizenship behavior. This research created a new theoretical model by adding equity sensitivity as a moderator between the individual organizational constructs and job satisfaction. Accountants in this context prefer to understand organizational procedures coupled with agreeable managerial interactions to increase organizational citizenship behaviors.
