The purpose of this study is to research the ecclesiology of the church by Charles Haddon Spurgeon and James Edward Lesslie Newbigin with a historical perspective, and to establish a 'biblical ecclesiology' that practice a work of the church. The Threefold office of Christ, 'Prophet, Priest and King' and 'The Great Commission,' are given as missions to believers and the church, and suggestions biblical ways to practice of missional work to person and society in the world. The author highlights the elements of Spurgeon and Newbigin's biblical ecclesiology by researching the historical backgrounds of the two characters, and presents the most appropriate biblical ecclesiology for the church today, and studies the restoration of the essence of the church. The author emphasizes that the essence of the church is revealed as a missionary work to practice God's love in the world with the pure gospel with the Threefold ministry of Christ in the lives of today's believers.
