The problem addressed in this study is that wholesale food stores are missing the opportunity to create shared value such as societal improvements as well as increased store revenue. The purpose of this qualitative, multiple case study was to explore how managers of wholesale food stores can integrate CSR practices with their preexisting business strategies to attain societal improvements as well as to increase customer sales. The sample for the study was kept to a limit of two groups: individuals, and restaurants leadership teams, that shop at the wholesale food stores. The interview questions were designed to be as broad-ranging as possible to aid in the transferability to any field, industry for the individuals, or restaurant type for the leadership teams. This study used qualitative research methodology and multiple case study design. Additionally, the study utilized MAXQDA to provide an in-depth analysis from all participants. The results from all of the research questions show that there are possible CSR integration points from a wholesale food store supplier perspective. These possible CSR integration points range from environmental concerns, all the way to Coronavirus 2019 response. In short, the study's overall results, show that even though wholesale food stores have multiple opportunities to enact CSR activities to help increase the value of CSR, capitalize on CSR's potential for growth, exploit CSR's ability to address consumer-based environmental concerns, exploit CSR's ability to address consumer demand for Coronavirus 2019 response actions, or CSR's ability to remove disparaging factors such as lack of communication or generalized action, they have yet to do so. This lack of ability, therefore, remains consistent with the problem statement.
