The purpose of this thesis was to write a grant proposal seeking funding for the development and implementation of a school-based curriculum for adolescents who have witnessed intimate partner violence (IPV), engaged in teen dating violence, or who are at risk of unhealthy relationships. The program targets high school students who attend the ABC Unified School District in Los Angeles County. A review of the literature found that many programs focused on direct adult victims of IPV without addressing indirect victims of IPV, particularly children and adolescents. This grant writer selected a potential funder, the Joseph Drown Foundation, with a mission aligned with the goals and objectives of the proposed program. Actual submission and funding of this program were not required to complete this thesis successfully.
