The construction industry is becoming more complex and uncertain. More projects are directed towards being fully or partially prefabricated projects due to the lack of skilled labor, shortening the construction schedule and time, better quality and environment control, and reducing the cost, especially in standardized and module projects. Supply chain management and stakeholders play an essential role in the successful delivery of prefabricated building projects. This study investigates the perception and the legal practice of the precast manufacturer/supplier and the contractor on the supply chain schedule coordination in prefabricated building projects. Other objectives are to understand both theoretical bases and various practical applications of the supply chain management performance, study the relationship between the contractor and manufacturer/supplier in managing the supply chain process of the concrete panels, and examine the supply chain coordination practices in the selected prefabricated projects. The data was collected using literature reviews, case studies, surveys, and interviews in different prefabricated projects. Findings from the survey and interviews provide depth understanding of the actual practice of the supply chain process, the importance of coordination through the relational and contractional relationships, and the impact of that on the performance and project cost. Future studies can develop a supply chain model or platform for the supply chain coordination process in which the manufacturer/supplier communicates the schedule reliability with many contractors.
