The purpose of this paper was to analyze cybersecurity in the United States military. It is essential to realize that the fifth domain impacts all domains of warfare. Each domain of warfare should not operate without considering the cyber domain. Large adversaries are building up their cyber capabilities to get ahead in the cyber domain. Some tactics used by adversaries to get ahead are stealing sensitive data and influencing presidential campaigns. The United States has made an effort to address concerns but still has ways to improve. A study showed that the U.S. comes last against other nation-states regarding cyberwar capabilities. Focusing on workforce issues, legislation, poor procedures, and nation-states should aid the U.S. military in cyberspace. The United States must improve its cybersecurity in the military since multi-domain warfare is present.
