Esta investigacion pretende vincular estudios de las condiciones higrotermicas presentes en el lecho del rio mapocho con sus tipologias y estado de desarrollo ecologico. Mediante la implemnetacion de una campana de medicion a lo largo del rio, se comparan las distintas situaciones encontradas. Esto, para comprovar una hipotesis general que plantea que las condiciones higrotermicas tienden a bajar las altas temperaturas en epocas de calor en las intancias mas cercanas al flujo del agua. Este analisis se desprende de la necesidad de determinar algunos de los multiples beneficios que trae el rio y su ecologia para los habitances de santiago. Estos beneficios pueden entrar en la definicion de los servicios ecosistemicos que entrega un rio urbano, siendo acuctualmente los mas concretos los de extraccion de agua para el consumo humano y minero o la extraccion de aridos. De manera general, las conclusiones plantean que efectivamente es mas confortable estar en zonas cercanas al agua en epocas d e calor. Variables como la velocidad de viento o la presencia de vegetacion tambien juegan un rol importante, mientras que la temperatura radiante tiene una menor incidencia en los resultados obtenidos. Al mismo tiempo se cree que la tipologia de rio y sus distintas situaciones como bifurcacion en los canales, aceleraciones del agua, distintos estratos marcados, etcetera, alteran las distintas variables.

520 $a This research aims to link studies of the hygrothermal conditions present in the Mapocho riverbed with its typologies and state of ecological development. Through the implementation of a measurement campaign along the river, the different situations found are compared. This, to verify a general hypothesis that hygrothermal conditions tend to lower high temperatures in times of heat in the instances closest to the flow of water.This analysis stems from the need to determine some of the multiple benefits that the river and its ecology bring to the inhabitants of Santiago. These benefits can be included in the definition of the ecosystem services provided by an urban river, currently the most specific being the extraction of water for human and mining consumption or the extraction of aggregates.In general, the conclusions suggest that it is indeed more comfortable to be in areas close to water in hot weather. Variables such as wind speed or the presence of vegetation also play an important role, while the radiant temperature has a lower incidence in the results obtained. At the same time, it is believed that the typology of the river and its different situations such as forks in the channels, accelerations of the water, different marked strata, etc., alter the different variables.
