As we spend roughly 90% of our time in buildings, the quality of the built environment can make a significant impact on our health and personal wellness. The purpose of the study was to review different features of the WELL Building Standards and rank the features on greatest importance as they relate to healthcare environments. A quantitative method of study was used to analyze the data on 78 participants. Descriptive analysis was used for questions pertaining to demographics. In respect to the NOURISHMENT concept, All food shall have clear labeling on menus, signage, and packaging to identify food allergens... is the most important (33.77%, n = 26). For the LIGHT concept, Provide adequate indoor lighting levels and require lighting design to be balanced...to support visual acuity 50.65% (n = 39) is the most important.
