The purpose was to identify how savvy revenue athletes are with the assistance of the Student-Athlete Development programs housed within collegiate athletics. The relationship status was based on the belief that SA Development, participation, and programs prepare a revenue athlete for the transition phase or the exhaustion of eligibility prepare this athlete to retire without any complications successfully. For research questions 1 and 1-1 & 2, participants highlighted that planning programs during the in-season can be complex and time-consuming due to the athlete's heavy schedule of practice, film sessions, class, and other extracurricular activities unrelated to athletics. Also, resources, staff, attention span, creativity, building relationships, trust, and collaboration played significant factors for in-season and off-season participation. Once a revenue athlete entered the off-season, with the exception on basketball players, who played both during in-season and off-season, he/she could become involved in Student-Athlete Development programs. The goal of research questions 2 and 2-1 & 2 was to understand if there was a supportive system from coaches to encourage athletes to attend Student-Athlete Development programs. Each result verified that both athletes' and coaches' schedules interfered with the athletes' participation in these programs. .
