The purpose of this thesis was to examine if Palestinian Women in the Diaspora demonstrate political agency to preserve the Palestinian ethnic and nationalistic identities. Historical and modern-day accounts are analyzed in evaluating the motivations of Palestinian Women's political agency, resistance, and influence. The hypothesis of this research is that if there is an increase in political shifts, there will be an increase in language by Palestinian Women in the Diaspora in defense of the Palestinian Identity. Ultimately, this hypothesis was supported in the findings from a qualitative research methodology approach that measured word frequency and sentiment analyses of tweets from Palestinian Women public figures in the Diaspora. The findings from this thesis suggest that Palestinian Women in the Diaspora have an impact on activism utilizing their narratives to vocalize the injustices of Palestinians in the Diaspora and under the occupation. Palestinian Women have a significant role in the continuation of the Palestinian Identity.
