This study examined the mediating effects of Conflict Management Style on the relationship between Authentic Leadership and follower Job Satisfaction. In total there were 185 usable surveys received. Participants rated their supervisors with the Authentic Leadership Questionnaire (ALQ; Walumbwa et al., 2007). Participants also rated their leader's Conflict Management Style with the Rahim Organizational Conflict Inventory-II (ROCI-II; Rahim, 1983). Participants reported their own Job Satisfaction using the Abridged Job Descriptive Index and Abridged Job in General (aJDI; Smith, Kendall, & Hulin, 1969; aJIG; Ironson, Smith, Brannick, Gibson, & Paul, 1989) . Respondents also provided demographic information including, Age, Gender, Tenure, Level of Education, and Ethnicity. Bivariate correlation analysis was completed to find preliminary conditions for mediation. Mediation was tested using multiple regression analysis. The study found Conflict Management Style did not behave as a mediator; however, Authentic Leadership did behave as a mediator between Conflict Management Style and Job Satisfaction. Relationships between Obliging Style, Dominating Style, Avoiding Style and Job Satisfaction were fully mediated by Authentic Leadership. Additional mediation tests found Authentic Leadership fully or partially mediated relationships between Conflict Management Styles (Obliging, Dominating, Compromising) and the facets of Job Satisfaction. The study added new insights to the literature regarding Authentic Leadership, Conflict Management Style, and Job Satisfaction and how relationships are mediated.
