The exploratory qualitative research investigated decision-makers' strategies to improve business decisions using business intelligence and analytics tools. The decision-makers can make poor decisions when the data quality is low because they have the wrong information or incomplete data. Insufficient or inadequate data quality has an indirect and direct impact on business decisions (Souibgui, Atigui, Zammali, Cherfi, & Yahia, 2019). The study's data was collected through semi-structured open-ended questions via Microsoft Teams from ten participants. The ten participants are the decision-makers in information technology in operations management in the healthcare system with the following requirements: work in IT in the area of operations management, a position as an executive, manager, or supervisor level; two or more years of experience in their current role, and use BI&A data visualization tools in the decision-making process. The study sought to identify the strategies need to improve business decisions when the data quality is low in the decision-making process. The data analysis method was coding. The researcher used for the data analysis MAXQDA that is computer-aided data analysis software. The themes that emerged in this study include (a) data accuracy, (b) BI&A, (c) dashboards and metrics, and (d) data source.
