The multisite/multiservice church displays a misunderstanding, not only of the nature of how God's people are to come before God in covenant with Him, but also the purposes of the covenant that God makes with His people. Therefore, this dissertation examines the connection between the covenant that God makes with His people and the assembly of God's gathered people. The conclusion is that God forms a physical and singular assembly shown through the unfolding of the covenants that He makes with His people, for the purpose of displaying His kingdom and spreading His presence to the ends of the earth.
