The integral path of devotion to the Divine Mother may be described as a legacy of Sri Aurobindo and Mother Mirra Alfassa, and their gift to humanity, honoring a direct relation to the embodiment of the Divine Mother, and Her essential consciousness. Mother Meera, considered to be a contemporary embodiment of the Divine Mother who has expressed a very intimate and direct relationship to them and their work, may be the key to uncovering the integral path of devotion towards the evolution of consciousness in this world. The integral psychology of devotion is a first academic exploration bridging integral yoga psychology and Haridas Chaudhuri's triadic principle of the individual, relational and transcendent dimensions of experience, with key Western psychology concepts. This work highlights the importance of devotion and surrender for the psychic transformation, and for the practice of integral yoga. This research is also the first qualitative study of devotion to Mother Meera. Two driving aspects of the study thus involved the development of a framework for the integral psychology of devotion and an empirical component. The primary inquiry of the study was to explore the lived experiences of devotion to Mother Meera. The study's exploration of devotion to a contemporary embodiment of the Divine Mother allowed for a deep exploration of the devotional path and highlighted the correspondence between the integral psychology of devotion, and the devotion of devotees to Mother Meera using the qualitative interview method. The experiences of devotion in the study revealed common themes across interviews as well as new considerations related to those themes for the psychology of devotion to the Divine Mother. Results were analyzed using Thematic Content Analysis, to distill common themes. Themes that emerged across all interviews were love, Divine will, spiritual energy, growth, ego, and soul. A strong correspondence was revealed between emerged themes, and the literature on the integral psychology of devotion, highlighting the importance of devotion to the Divine Mother, including Mother Meera, and the bestowal of Her consciousness and Grace, the transformative factors of the devotional process.

Die Ergebnisse wurden mithilfe der thematischen Inhaltsanalyse analysiert, um gemeinsame Themen zu destillieren. Themen, die in allen Interviews auftauchten, waren Liebe, gottlicher Wille, spirituelle Energie, Wachstum, Ego und Seele. Es zeigte sich eine starke Ubereinstimmung zwischen den aufgetauchten Themen und der Literatur uber die integrale Psychologie der Hingabe, wobei die Bedeutung der Hingabe an die gottliche Mutter, einschlieslich Mutter Meera, und die Verleihung ihres Bewusstseins und ihrer Gnade, die transformativen Faktoren des Andachtsprozesses, hervorgehoben wurden.
