The study aimed to identify the role of social networks in changing the image of religious institutions in Iraq during the October protests from the point of view of Iraqi students studying in Jordanian universities، and the study relied on the descriptive approach، and the study community consisted of all Iraqi students studying in Jordanian public and private universities، and was completed Obtaining the study sample using electronic applications through the Internet and social networks in the snowball method،380 questionnaires were distributed، and 368 questionnaires valid for the purposes of the analysis were retrieved.The study reached several results، the most important of which are:- The largest percentage of Iraqi students studying in Jordanian universities follow the news of the October protests in Iraq through the Face book network.- The biggest focus of the apparent content of news of the October protests through social networks in changing the image of religious institutions in Iraq from the viewpoint of Iraqi students studying in Jordanian universities was about Iranian interference in Iraq، and on demonstrating the use of extreme violence by security forces in the face of demonstrations.- Ideas، values and trends prevailing in the news of the October protests through social networks in changing the image of religious institutions in Iraq from the viewpoint of Iraqi students studying in Jordanian universities have obtained an intermediate degree.- The most reliable means for circulating news of the October protests through social networks to change the image of religious institutions in Iraq from the viewpoint of Iraqi students studying in Jordanian universities was to participate in comments about what is being published through social networks in relation to the Tishreen protests to a high degree، and was Relying on students' information sources on direct videos displayed on social networks and on videos displayed on social networks.- The overall rate of dependence on the media provided through social networks to circulate news of the October protests in changing the image of religious institutions in Iraq and the degree of interaction is an average degree.- A frequent video of victims of demonstrations during the October protests news had the effect of changing the image of students 'religious institutions.
