The proposed project was created to improve and provide accessible services to undocumented Latina women in the south Los Angeles Area. The services will consist of high quality culturally sensitive mental health services, utilizing Prolonged Exposure to address post-traumatic stress disorder in survivors of trauma. The host agency for the proposed program is the East Los Angeles Women's Center, which stands out for the trauma informed services provided to survivors of domestic violence and sexual abuse. A comprehensive review of the relevant literature was completed, and a needs assessment was conducted. The California Wellness foundation was identified as an adequate funding sources for the proposed grant. Actual submission for funding was not a requirement for the successful completion of this project.
