The current investigation assessed the effects of video feedback on kicking form and the effects of manipulating the goal target widths to increase soccer kicking accuracy among 9-11 years old female participants in a soccer club. During the first experiment, video feedback was provided immediately after each kick. Once the participants acquired mastery criterion for kicking form, they began Experiment 2: kicking accuracy trials. During Experiment 2, a constant distance (three meters) was used and a minimum performance criterion was set to incrementally shape kick accuracy from wider to narrower goal widths of 1.8, 1.5 and 1.2 m.Keywords: goal width, kicking form, soccer, sports, video feedback.
