Some teachers feel comfortable using technology, while others dispute its efficiency when integrating it into the curriculum. This study investigated how the implementation of CAI evidently supported the students' success in the subject of statistics. The study concentrated in the reliability of computer-assisted instruction that increased the comprehension of statistics. Twenty-two fourth-grade students ranging from nine to ten years old participated in this study. The class was diverse; there were twelve Hispanics, six Pacific Islanders, three African-Americans, and three Caucasians. The class consisted of twelve boys, and ten girls who were English proficient. The results of this study indicated that computer-assisted instruction can increase the understanding of statistics. A pre-test and posttest were used to analyzed the data and results from the posttest were considerably higher than the pre-test (t (42) = -15.9, p < .01).
