Conclusion: The present study was the first of its kind to attempt to directly compare the effectiveness of virtual reality or mirror therapy in treating upper extremity dysfunction following stroke. While results were inconclusive in determining a clear winner, this study suggests that either mirror or virtual reality therapy is an effective intervention post CVA.
