This document will tell the story of the making of The Fast One which I wrote, produced, directed, and edited. It will also tell the story of how I became a filmmaker, and why I decided to make this film. My influences from both art and film will be discussed as will the techniques used in the making of the film and how those techniques serve the story and engage the audience. The factors that constrained pre-production, affected production, and altered the narrative, content, and style of the final film will form the main narrative thread of this supporting document.
