Thesis (D.B.A.)--Capella University, 2016.
This research study included an examination into the extent that a comprehensive wellness program affects employees' job satisfaction levels. As the leaders of more organizations implement wellness programs in the workplace, they will want to understand what factors besides employee health that wellness programs affect. The Minnesota Satisfaction Questionnaire was the tool used to evaluate employees' intrinsic and extrinsic job satisfaction levels. Survey participants were self-identified employees of the organization who did or did not participate in the organization's wellness program. Research findings indicated there was no difference in extrinsic and intrinsic job satisfaction levels between employees who did participate and employees who did not participate in the wellness program.
